Bakari Safari was founded on a simple belief: Tanzania's most extraordinary safari experiences deserve a thoughtful bridge to travelers who will cherish them.

We are a Canadian-incorporated tour operator specializing in bespoke private safaris in Tanzania, designed across a full spectrum of comfort and luxury, for discerning travelers from Canada, the United States, and Mainland China.

Our bilingual English/Mandarin team brings genuine cultural fluency across our three source markets.

We work directly with Tanzania's established lodge collections to deliver our journeys, with on-the-ground operations conducted through our TALA-licensed operating partner in Arusha. Every Bakari journey is designed bespoke, paced for intimacy, and supported by a team that knows Tanzania as both a place and a privilege.

Our Lodge Network

We work with established lodge collections across Tanzania's Northern Circuit, Zanzibar, and emerging conservancies — selected for location, service standards, and conservation commitment.

Our partner lodges range from comfortable mid-range camps near park gates to ultra-luxury tented camps in remote conservancies. Final property selection for each journey is based on guest preferences, travel dates, and seasonal positioning of the herds. Specific partner recommendations shared with confirmed clients during itinerary design.
